Different from ordinary cables, #22DS is very rugged yet neat in appearance. An exceptionally nice cable to handle, it lies flat, takes a good stretch for straight lines and holds its shape on a building. It is a very soft and pliable cable, which is important when you have to conform to curves and obstructions in applying it to buildings. This is the cable originally designed by West Dodd in 1887 and constantly improved since.
